Hero Enhancement
Hero Gear in Last War: Survival Game
Introduction
Each hero in the game can be equipped with four types of gear: two increase Attack, and two increase Defense. Gear is categorized by quality: Legendary
, Epic
, Rare
, Common
. The main focus should be on Legendary gear. It is better to dismantle Epic gear and below for materials, though you can use them temporarily in the early stages if you lack Legendary items.
Initially, gear with the M5-A designation is available:
To fully equip a squad of five heroes, you will need 20 pieces of gear. It is difficult to obtain them all at once, so equip your heroes gradually, alternating between offensive and defensive items. Equip attackers with Railguns and Chips, and defenders with Armor and Radars. Temporarily fill missing slots with Epic gear.
Where to Get Gear
Gear Factory
The primary way to obtain gear is the Gear Factory. Here you can craft gear and dismantle it for materials. To craft Legendary Gear, you will need: 750 units of Dielectric Ceramic
, About 500,000 Coins
, A few days of time.
Materials are crafted in a chain:
Dielectric Ceramic — requires 4 units of Synthetic Resin
.
Synthetic Resin — requires 4 units of Superalloy
.
Superalloy — requires 4 units of Refined Iron Module
.
Refined Iron Module — requires 4 Screws
.
Technically, materials can be dismantled back, but there is no practical sense in doing so.
Material Workshop
The main resource for crafting gear is Screws
. They are produced in Material Workshops.
- You can build up to 5 workshops.
- At level 11, one workshop produces 34 Screws per hour.
- Total daily production is 4,080 Screws (with 5 workshops).
To craft one piece of Legendary Gear, you will need 192,000 Screws, which will take about 47 days. Upgrading workshops speeds up the process, but only slightly. Therefore, do not rely solely on Screw production — it is just an additional source of resources.
Dismantling Gear
The fastest way to get materials is by dismantling Epic and lower quality gear:
Epic Gear — 150 units of Synthetic Resin
.
Rare Gear — 40 units of Superalloy
.
Common Gear — 40 units of Refined Iron Module
.
Gear can be obtained:
- From Chests
when plundering and dispatching Trucks. - In the "Light of Hope" event. For example, a Railgun is awarded for reaching 4.5M Combat Power in a week. Don't miss this event!
You can get 4-5 pieces of Epic gear per day, which allows you to gather materials to craft one Legendary item in about a week.
Upgrading Gear
Gear upgrading involves two stages:
- Leveling up from 1 to 40. Requires Gear Factory Level 10 or higher.
- Increasing Star Level. This feature unlocks at Gear Factory Level 20.
Leveling Up (1-40)
To level up, you need:
- Coins

- Upgrade Ore

Significant boosts occur at levels 10, 20, 30, and 40, so it is recommended to reach these thresholds first rather than upgrading everything evenly.
Total costs to upgrade one item to level 40:
- 28.95M Coins
- 194,000 Upgrade Ore
There are upgrade recommendations available in the game. If you activate this feature, the system will suggest an optimal upgrade plan for the selected squad.
More detailed information is presented in the images.
Increasing Star Level
After reaching level 40, gear can be upgraded to 5 stars. To do this, you will need:
- Coins

- Upgrade Ore

- Dielectric Ceramic

- Gear Blueprint (UR)

- Gear Blueprint (MR)
— required for the final, red star.
Gear Blueprints can be obtained:
Gear Blueprints (UR) — in the Honor Store for 10,000 Honor Points
.
Gear Blueprints (MR) — for reaching damage goals against Boss "Code Name 39" (20 units free).
Total costs to upgrade one gear item to 5 stars:
- 749.2M Coins
- 500,000 Upgrade Ore
- 6,000 Dielectric Ceramic
- 50 Gear Blueprints (UR)
- 10 Gear Blueprints (MR)
Optimization Tips
- Focus on Legendary Gear — it is the most effective.
- Dismantle Epic Gear and below to obtain materials.
- Plunder Trucks with chests — this is the main source of gear in the early stages.
- Use in-game recommendations for optimal gear upgrading.
- Save Honor Points to purchase Gear Blueprints (UR).
By following these recommendations, you can effectively equip your heroes and boost their combat stats. Good luck in the game!
