Daily Routine
Daily Routine for Success in Last War
In Last War, daily routines are the foundation of your progress. To stay among the leaders, it is important to manage your time and resources wisely. In this article, we will analyze in detail the key activities that you should perform every day:
- Intercity Truck — learn how to correctly dispatch trucks, which cargo to choose, and how to use trade for maximum profit.
- Radar Tasks — understand what tasks exist, how to accumulate them, and use them to win events such as Duel VS.
- Secret Task — dispatch heroes on secret missions, use the refresh strategy, and receive valuable rewards.
- Arena — test your strength in battles with other players, participate in Storm Arena and 3v3 Brawl to climb the rankings.
🚚 Intercity Truck
Intercity Truck (or simply "Trucks") is a regular daily activity that becomes available to commanders on day 4 after the server launch.
To date, this is one of the most important ways to obtain resources without spending, especially Universal UR Hero Shards
, Gear Chests
and Coins.
The essence of the event is simple: you will have to not only equip and protect your own cargo convoys, but also hunt for other players' trucks yourself for additional loot.
1. Dispatching Trucks: Rules and Strategy
Your main task is to choose a vehicle, assign a guard, and send the cargo on its way. The base delivery time is 4 hours, but upgrading Tech will help reduce it.
Limits: How many trucks can be sent?
It is important to distinguish between the total number of trips per day and the ability to send simultaneously.
- Daily Limit: Initially, 4 trucks per day are available. By researching the skill in the "Intercity Truck" branch, you will receive an additional truck (total 5 trips).
- Simultaneous Dispatch: Depends on the number of unlocked squads.
- At the start, you have 1 squad.
- With the Headquarters / HQ level increase and research, you will unlock the 2nd and 3rd squads for free.
- Important: The 4th squad opens only through purchase.
Strategy: "All at Once" or "One by One"?
You need to find a balance between safety and time.
- Risky Option (Fast): Dispatching 2-3 trucks simultaneously. Weak squads will become easy prey.
- Safe Option (Slow): Dispatching one by one, using only the strongest squad. This requires logging into the game more often.
- Timing "Near Closing": Experienced players try to send the most valuable ("fat") trucks closer to the end of the game day. Plus: By this time, most aggressive players have already used their Plunder attempts, and your cargo will travel safely. Risk: The main thing is to calculate the time so that the truck returns before the server reset. If it is delayed and returns in the new day, plunderers will have their attempts refreshed, and your valuable cargo will be attacked instantly.
Transport Types, Refresh and Guarantee
Trucks come in different qualities. The higher the rank, the more valuable the reward (SSR -> UR).
- How to get the best one: Initially, a free refresh attempt is given
, then Trade Contracts
are used. After contracts run out, each attempt to refresh costs 100 Diamonds
. - Guarantee: With each refresh attempt, the probability of getting UR increases. On the 6th attempt, the chance becomes 100%. But if you are not satisfied with the cargo content, you can continue refreshing.
- What to choose: You don't always need to chase the UR Hero rank. In rare cases, a specific SSR truck may contain the resources you need in larger quantities than the dropped UR. Always look at the contents!
Special Transport: Reindeer Sleigh Ride
Unlocks in the same "Intercity Truck" tech branch.
- Chance: After researching the technology, every time you get a UR truck, there is a 10% probability that it will turn into a Reindeer Sleigh Ride with increased rewards.
- Reminder: It can only be plundered once.
⚠️ Important Note on Tech (Don't waste resources!)
In the research branch "Intercity Truck" there is a technology called Ultimate Guard. It is very expensive, but in fact pointless.
- What it does: Limits the number of failed attacks on your truck to three attempts for one player.
- Why it is bad: This limit acts individually on each attacker, not on the whole server. If the player is stronger than you — he will plunder you on the first attempt. If weaker — he will lose anyway. The situation where someone unsuccessfully bangs against you 4 times in a row is practically impossible. Do not upgrade this Tech!
2. Plundering Other Trucks
Besides dispatching your own vehicles, you can attack other players to seize part of their cargo. This is a quick way to get Coins and resources.
Limits and Attack Rules
- Number of attempts: You have 4 successful plunders available per day. Important: Failed attacks (defeats) do not reduce your number of attempts. You can attack as many times as you like until you achieve 4 victories.
- Truck Limit: Each target has its own durability limit.
- A regular truck can be successfully plundered 2 times. If you see the counter "2/2", you cannot attack it anymore.
- Reindeer Sleigh Ride can be plundered only 1 time ("1/1").
Target Selection Strategy
Do not press "Plunder" on the first golden truck you see.
- Look at Power: This is the most important indicator. Compare the guard squad's power with your first squad. If the opponent has 15 million power, and you have 10 — don't waste time, look for a weaker target.
- Color Priority: The reward for plundering a Golden Truck is always higher. Try to use your 4 attempts only on golden vehicles or Reindeer Sleigh Rides. Plundering purple or blue trucks is worth it only in the last minutes before the daily reset, if you haven't found anything better.
"Revenge" Feature and Enemy Mark
In the event menu under the "Reports" tab, you can see who attacked your convoys. You can mark the offender with a special marker. After that, if this player's truck appears in the general target search, it will be highlighted
When dispatching and plundering, always pay attention to valuable goods. Priority should be given to the following rewards:
- UR Hero Shard (the most valuable resource for upgrading)
. - Epic Gear Chest
. - Secret Order
. - Diamond
. - Hero Recruitment Tickets
.
Special attention: Epic Gear Chests are critically important in the early stage of the game. Until you collect a full set of legendary gear for your main heroes, purple gear can be dismantled into materials to craft (assemble) legendary items from them.
Cross-server Trade (Available from Day 29)
Starting from Day 29 of the server's life, the trade zone boundaries expand. Now, in the list of trucks, you will see convoys not only of your neighbors but also of commanders from other servers.
How to identify an outsider?
The player's server number is always displayed before their name (for example, #155 PlayerName).
- If the number matches yours — this is a player from your server.
- If the number is different — this is a target from another server.
Unspoken Code: "Don't Plunder Your Own"
With the opening of cross-server features, an etiquette rule comes into force on most servers. Attacking a player from your own server (even if they are from another Alliance) is considered bad form and is often prohibited by the rules.
- Your priority target is trucks from other servers.
- It is safe from a political point of view (top players of your server will not take revenge on you) and helps drain resources from potential adversaries.
Alliance Train
This is a large-scale event for cohesive clans, requiring coordination and luck.
- Access Conditions: The Alliance must consist of more than 20 people and be in the Top-20 of the server ranking.
- Train Types:
- Normal: Arrives automatically every day at 00:00 server time.
- Super Express: Available via purchase (up to 2 times a day).
Preparation and Roles
The train consists of the front part (Locomotive) and 4 wagons. Each wagon has 6 slots with rewards.
- Conductor: Appointed by leadership (R4/R5). Usually a reward for the most active players. The Conductor refreshes the cargo using Trade Contracts (5 refreshes = guaranteed Golden Train).
- Passengers: Alliance members apply for seats in the wagons.
- VIP-passenger: The Conductor can invite one player who will receive an increased reward.
Seat Lottery
In each wagon there are only 5 seats. If there are more applicants (for example, 20 people want into the first wagon), then after the preparation ends, the system will select passengers randomly.
Tip: Sometimes it is more profitable to choose a wagon with less competition to guarantee a seat, although in popular wagons the choice of goods is often better.
Attack and Rewards
The train moves across the map and can be attacked a maximum of 3 times. Each successful attack by plunderers takes away 3 random slots of cargo. The train is not destroyed completely, but arrives "emptied".
Loot Distribution (depending on luck and plundering):
- Conductor: Receives the biggest jackpot — everything left in the front part and the wagons. The reward can vary from 21 to 30 slots.
- VIP-passenger: Receives cargo from two wagons and the front part. Reward: from 9 to 18 slots.
- Passenger: Receives the remains from their specific wagon. Reward: from 2 to 6 slots (if your specific wagon was heavily plundered, the reward will be minimal).
📡 Radar Tasks
Radar Tasks are a special type of missions found on a separate screen (accessible via the Radar building at the base). This is one of the main sources of resources for development, especially important in the early stages of the game.
Tasks refresh (are added) every 6 hours. To get the maximum benefit from them, you need to understand how the task lifespan and accumulation system works.
How it works: Timers and "Red Dot"
Each task has two states:
- Active (New)
: As soon as the task appears on the radar map, a timer starts (usually 8 hours). If you do not start the execution within this time, the icon will disappear, and you will lose the reward. - Completed (With a Red Dot)
: If you fulfilled the task condition (attacked, rescued a survivor), but did not collect the reward, the icon on the map is marked with a red dot.Important: In this state, the timer disappears. A task with a Red Dot can hang forever until you click on it to claim the prize. This is exactly what the accumulation strategy is built on.
Radar Level
The Radar has its own level, which upgrades automatically as tasks are completed (radar experience is given for each task). The higher the level, the better the parameters:
- Generation: How many new tasks are added every 6 hours.
- Screen Limit: How many icons can fit on the map simultaneously.
- Storage Limit: How many tasks can hang in the reserve "in the background".
Example (for Radar Level 6):
- Generated every 6 hours: 10 tasks.
- Maximum icons on screen: 7 items.
- Maximum in storage (counter at the bottom): up to 25 tasks.
Accumulation System and Strategy (Duel VS)
If your radar screen is completely filled with completed tasks (all icons with Red Dots), new missions that arrive every 6 hours do not disappear. They go into Storage.
As soon as you claim a reward from the map, a spot frees up, and one new task instantly "drops" from storage.
Strategy for Duel VS
On specific days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), the event Duel VS gives points for completing Radar Tasks. To bring victory to the alliance and receive more personal rewards, players save up missions in advance (1-2 days).
- Ideal Scenario: Accumulate 24/25 tasks (or your maximum minus 1) by the start of the VS day.
- Why not 25/25: If your storage fills to the limit (40/40), the countdown timer for the next 6 hours will stop. When the refresh time comes, new tasks simply won't be added, and you will lose them irretrievably.
- Tip: Always keep the stock at the "Maximum minus 1" level so that the timer continues ticking, and you receive all free tasks.
Mission Types and Quality
Missions appear randomly and are divided by quality (color): Legendary (Gold), Epic (Purple), Rare (Blue), Uncommon (Green), Common (White). The higher the quality, the better the reward.
1. One-time / Starter Missions
These tasks occur only at the initial stage of the game.
-
Initial Mission: Attack on a mob squad using heroes.
Rewards: Hero shards (e.g. Monica or Murphy), EXP, speedups. -
Rescue Survivor: After a dialogue, the survivor comes to the base gates.
2. Daily Tasks (Only 1 time per day)
These tasks can appear in the list only once per day.
-
Destroy Doom Legion: Attack on the Legion base to get resources. Stamina is consumed. -
Rescue Resistance: Completed with one click. -
Defeat Doom Elite: Normal attack on the Elite. Stamina is consumed.
Tip: Joining someone else's attack allows completing the task without losing Stamina. -
Destroy Doom Walker: Appears after Radar Level 7. Attack on the Walker on the map.
Note: Completing this mission automatically finishes the "Defeat Doom Elite" task.
3. Permanent Tasks (Repeatable)
These missions can drop multiple times throughout the day.
-
Eliminate Zombies: Attack on zombies for 10 Stamina. Allies can help complete the task. -
Help Ally: Helping clanmates complete their missions. Completed instantly, but consumes 10 Stamina.
Note: Available only for players in an alliance. -
Geological Survey: Instant completion without Stamina costs. -
Gather Resources: A mine with a large amount of resources appears on the map. From Radar Level 6, a mine with Diamond is added. -
Excavation Tasks (Tractor or Drone): One of the most interesting, but rare missions.
Mechanics: Allies can join. Upon timer expiration, a prize box appears on the map.
Reward: The first 10 participants get rewards, the other participants get consolation prizes via mail.
Secret Task
Secret Task is a building where players can dispatch the Secret Mobile Squad on missions and dig for treasures. This is a daily event that brings valuable rewards and requires a strategic approach.
1. Completing Missions
- Each mission requires a specific amount of time to complete (timer).
- After completing the mission, you receive a reward.
2. Difficulty Levels
The difficulty of missions depends on your Headquarters / HQ level. The higher the level, the better the rewards, but also stricter requirements for heroes (Level, UR/SSR Quality, Star Count).
- Basic: There are 5 difficulty levels.
- From Headquarters Level 31: A 6th difficulty level is added.
- From Headquarters Level 34: A 7th difficulty level is added.
3. Refresh and Mission Types
Missions you haven't started yet can be refreshed to try and get a higher rarity (Legendary/Gold).
- Refresh Cost: 1 Secret Order
. If there are no orders, a refresh costs 100 Diamonds
. - Special Missions: Missions marked with a red star give the highest rewards and do not change upon refreshing. They cannot be accidentally "skipped".
4. Mission Reset and Timing
- Normal Missions: Reset and refresh daily at 00:00 server time.
- Special (Red Star): Reset only once every three days.
Tip: They can be held (not started immediately), timing them for events such as Duel VS, where completing such missions gives huge extra points.
Mega Refresh and Saving Strategy
Here it is important to understand the difference in price and mechanics so as not to waste valuable orders.
1. Refresh Types
- Refresh: Costs 1 Secret Order
. Refreshes ALL uncompleted tasks at once (except those with a red star or already in progress). - Mega Refresh: Costs 4 Secret Orders for each task. Guaranteed to turn selected tasks into Legendary (Gold).
- Mega Deploy: A convenient feature to dispatch heroes to all available tasks with one click.
2. Probabilities (Chances)
With a normal refresh, the chances of getting a specific quality are distributed as follows:
- Legendary (Gold): 8%
- Epic (Purple): 24%
- Rare (Blue): 68%
3. Benefit Math (4-Slot Rule)
Why shouldn't you press "Mega Refresh" immediately? Because normal refresh works "wholesale".
- When there are many slots (8): Spending just 1 Secret Order, you spin the "roulette" on 8 tasks at once. The probability of getting at least one legendary is very high. It is profitable.
- When there are few slots (1–3): Spending 1 order for an 8% chance on a single slot is inefficient. You can waste 10 orders. Here the cost of one legendary becomes too high.
To get the maximum legendary rewards with minimum costs:
- While you have more than 4 free tasks — use only "Refresh".
- As soon as Legendary ones drop — dispatch squads to them (close the slots).
- Repeat until 4 or fewer tasks remain.
- Stop at this stage. Either claim the remaining Epic/Blue tasks, or (if resources allow) use "Mega Refresh" for a guarantee.
Plundering and Helping Allies
1. Protecting Your Rewards
After the task timer expires, an icon with the reward appears on the world map. It must be collected as soon as possible.
- If the reward hangs on the map for a long time, rivals can detect it.
- The task can be plundered up to 3 times, which will significantly reduce your total profit.
2. Plundering Others
You have 5 attempts per day to plunder other players' tasks.
- For maximum benefit, look for high-level tasks (Legendary/Epic) or wait for neighbors to finish missions.
- Tip: Alliance members often share coordinates of "fat" targets in chat.
3. Helping Allies
You can help members of your Alliance 5 times per day.
- If you see that an ally has completed a task but hasn't collected the reward for a long time (for example, is sleeping), you can click on their task and "save" the cargo.
- This will protect the task from being plundered by enemies, and the ally will receive the full reward when they log into the game.
Hidden Treasure
This is an additional event where you collect map fragments to find treasure.
Map Fragments
- For completing Legendary and Epic missions, you receive Map Fragments numbered from 1 to 7.
- Having collected a full set (all 7 parts), you can combine them and go to the world map to dig up a chest.
- Exchange: You can and should exchange fragments with clanmates. If you have three pieces of #1, and a friend has none — share!
Guarantee for Legendary Chest
The most desired reward is the Legendary Chest, but digging it up is difficult (the chance is small).
- Guarantee System: If within 15 attempts (digs) you do not get a legendary chest, then on the 16th time you will receive it guaranteed.
- After the legendary chest drops, the counter resets.
Grand Prize: Golden Mobile Squad
In the legendary chest (or in the choice box) you can find a rare decoration — "Golden Mobile Squad".
- It increases the number of secret tasks that can be performed simultaneously (adds an extra dispatch queue). This is a critically important upgrade for development.
⚔️ Arena
After constructing the Arena building, players have the opportunity to participate in battles with other players to test their strength and receive valuable rewards. The Arena offers several competition formats.
1. Recruit Camp
This is the first event in the arena, which lasts a week and is held once for each player at the start.
Basic Rules:
- Free Challenges: You can challenge other players 5 times per day.
- Troop Safety: During the battle, highest level soldiers are used, which do not take damage and do not die (zero losses).
- Battle Mechanics: In case of victory, you take the loser's place in the ranking.
Rewards:
- Instant Rewards: Given upon reaching a certain high rank (record).
- Final Rewards: Sent to mail for the rank occupied at the end of the event.
2. Storm Arena
This is a more complex competition format that lasts two weeks and is held on a regular basis.
Arena Levels:
- High level: Total hero power must be in the TOP-200 of your war zone.
- Medium level: Total hero power must be in the TOP 201-800.
Transition between levels:
If a player at the High level falls below 800th place, they move to the medium one. Upon reaching TOP-200, it becomes possible to move to the high level.
Ranking and Battles:
- Initially, all players start with 1000 points.
- When clicking the "Start" button, 5 opponents with similar rankings are offered.
- Victory brings points, defeat — takes them away. The greater the point difference between you and the opponent, the more points you can gain (or lose).
Storm Arena Rewards:
- Daily rewards: For conducting 1, 3, and 5 battles per day.
- Individual rewards: For your personal rank at the end of the season.
- Alliance rewards: Given to all members if any of the alliance members occupy places from 1 to 10 in the general ranking.
3. 3v3 Brawl
This is an alternative arena format that periodically replaces Storm Arena.
Basic Rules:
- Battle Mechanics: 3 squads participate simultaneously.
- Victory Condition: You need to win at least 2 battles out of 3.
- Setup: Before the battle, you can choose which of your squads will fight which enemy squad. You see the opponent's formation.
Winning Strategy:
If you have weak squads, you can use the "smart setup" tactic:
- Sacrifice the weakest squad by placing it against the enemy's strongest squad.
- Place your 1st squad (strong) against the opponent's 2nd squad.
- Place your 2nd squad (medium) against the opponent's 3rd squad (weak).
Note: To maintain high ranking places, it is important to have three evenly upgraded squads so the opponent cannot use this tactic against you.
Rewards:
- Daily Rewards: For winning 5 times a day.
- Final Rewards: For the rank occupied at the end of the event.
