Drone — Power of Your Squad
Drones in Last War: Survival Game
Introduction
In Last War: Survival Game, Drones are a powerful addition to your Squad, significantly enhancing its combat capabilities. After clearing the area around your base, you can build the "Drone Center", which grants access to tactical drones.
These units continuously attack enemies during battle while remaining invulnerable to opponents. However, to make the drone a real threat, it must be upgraded. In this article, we will tell you how to do it right.
How to Boost Your Drone: 4 Ways
Drones, like any other weapon, can be upgraded. There are four main ways to boost them in the game:
1. Drone Level Up
To level up your drone, you need Battle Data
and Drone Parts
.
- Battle Data can be obtained by farming monsters (PvE) or purchased in the Campaign Store.
- Drone Parts are available in various stores, awarded as event rewards, and can also be found in Radar Tasks.
Tip: Upgrade your drone on Monday. On this day, you earn points in the Duel VS for spending resources.
Upgrade Mechanics:
- Using resources fills the progress bar. A new level boosts the attributes of all heroes in the Squad.
- Critical Success: When using Battle Data, if the progress is below 80%, there is a 50% chance to double the EXP gained. At 80% progress or higher, critical hits do not occur. Drone Parts always provide fixed EXP with no critical chance.
- Key Stages: At levels 30, 50, 70, 90, and 110, the drone's skill level increases, and its appearance changes.
2. Installing and Upgrading Components
At drone level 15, access to components unlocks. There are 6 types in total:
- Radar

- Turbo Engine

- External Armor

- Thermal Scope

- Fuel Cell

- Airborne Missile

Merge: Three identical components of the same level can be merged to obtain one higher-level component. This significantly boosts combat stats.
How to get components:
- From Component Chests (type drops randomly).
- Chests can be earned in events or produced at the Component Factory. Producing a Level 1 chest takes about 3 hours.
Tip: Open chests and merge components on Wednesday. On this day, points are awarded for these actions in the Duel VS.
3. Upgrading the Combat Boost
This feature unlocks on day 82 of the server. It allows you to further upgrade the drone's stats.
- Leveling up requires Drone System EXP Cards
. You can buy them in the Alliance Store or find them in Skill Chip Chests. - After reaching level 10, the next stage unlocks — Drone Skill Chips.
4. Using Skill Chips
Skill Chips are sets that boost specific unit types: Tanks, Aircraft, or Missile Vehicles. Each set consists of 4 chips of different rarities.
- 1st Set: unlocks at Combat Boost level 10.
- 2nd Set: at level 150.
- 3rd Set: at level 300.
By level 300, you will unlock all three slots. It is important to remember: you can switch the active chip set before battle to boost the specific unit type you are currently using.
How to Get Skill Chips
- Skill Chip Chests
: you can obtain them in various events or buy them in stores. - Chip Lab: here you can craft chips using Premium
and Plain Chip Materials
. Materials drop from Skill Chip Chests and are also awarded in Duel VS.
- Crafting a Rare Chip requires 400 Plain Materials.
- Crafting a Legendary Chip requires 800 Premium Materials.
Tips:
- It is best to open Skill Chip Chests on Monday. On this day, points are awarded for opening chests in the Duel VS.
- Star Up: Rare and Legendary chips can be upgraded using their copies (duplicates). This significantly increases their effectiveness.
- Legendary materials are very hard to get, so craft Legendary chips only for your main Squad.
- Unwanted Chips: Common and Rare chips that you do not use can be used to upgrade the Combat Boost level.
Conclusion
Drones in Last War: Survival Game are not just battle assistants, but a key element of strategy. Proper drone boosting via leveling up, components, the Combat Boost, and Skill Chips will allow you to create an invincible Squad. Do not miss the opportunity to utilize their potential to the fullest!

What is the drone data required for each level?
To be honest, there has never been an issue with drone data. The main problem when upgrading is always Drone Parts. While you collect them, you will always gather enough Drone Data. You just need a little activity: farming monsters and getting it from the store.
