Master the 5v5 Winter Storm battle!

Winter Storm Battlefield: Strategic Combat

Winter Storm is a 5v5 team-based combat mode that opens for servers older than 7 weeks. Battles traditionally take place on Saturdays, and an additional day, Monday, is added during off-season periods. The schedule is subject to change based on game updates, so players should always check the exact timing in the event menu.

1. Time Intervals and Participation

Participation is restricted to specific time windows during the event day:

  • Time Windows: There are 3 windows of 2 hours each available for participation.
  • Matchmaking: After registration, the system begins searching for allies and opponents.
  • Entering the Battle: Once a team of 10 commanders is formed and all participants confirm readiness, players are automatically transported to the battlefield.

2. Limits and Reward System

The number of valuable prizes per event is limited:

  • Reward Limit: You can claim a maximum of 3 win rewards and 3 participation rewards.
  • Important Note: A win automatically counts as participation. By achieving three victories, you will complete both reward tracks simultaneously.
  • Honor Points: Three victories grant a total of 10,000 Honor Points Honor Points, which are required to purchase Gear Blueprints (UR) in the event shop.

3. Troop Preparation and Conditions

The event is highly resource-efficient as it does not consume your real army:

  • Requirements: Commanders with Headquarters (HQ) level 15 and above can participate.
  • Army: Upon entering, your highest-level units automatically fill an independent Drill Ground. These troops do not appear in your main base.
  • Free Recovery: Units do not die permanently; all severely wounded soldiers are automatically recovered for free immediately after the match.

4. Key Objects and Victory Conditions

The battle continues until one team reaches 30,000 points, or until 10 minutes expire. In practice, 30,000 points are usually reached faster (about 7–8 minutes).

Oil Refinery
  • Oil Refinery
    • Can be captured immediately after the battle starts.
    • Primary source of points. There are two of them on the map.
Missile Site
  • Missile Site
    • Automatically attacks captured enemy buildings and deals damage to the troops inside.
    • Grants a small number of points. There are two of them on the map.
Nuclear Silo
  • Nuclear Silo
    • Becomes available 3 minutes after the battle starts.
    • Key object that grants a large number of points.
Airdrop Supplies
  • Airdrop Supplies
    • Periodically appears in different locations on the map.
    • The team receives 1,000 points for capturing the supplies.

5. Tactics and Relocation Mechanics

  • Garrison: Each commander can place multiple squads in a single building, which is impossible on the game's main map.
  • Marching: Once troops are sent, you cannot change their direction; only the "Return to base" command is available.
  • Free Teleport: Moving your base on the battlefield is free and available once per minute.
  • Lifehack: Teleportation allows you to instantly gather all your troops—whether they are marching or in a garrison—directly back to your base for regrouping.

Conclusion

Winter Storm requires high concentration and the ability to change positions rapidly. Despite random matchmaking, the vital Honor Points Honor Points make participation mandatory for any player aiming for top-tier gear.
